Our Mission: Helping cancer patients on the journey to hope and healing.
Jamestown Cancer Support Group is a nonprofit, all volunteer organization which offers assistance with transportation costs to cancer patients and their friends and families. We are thankful for funding through generous donations and our annual Quarter Crae Basket Auction fundraiser. Our gifts help show community support of the cancer patient’s journey and tries to make that journey just a little bit easier.
We serve the North Dakota counties of Stutsman, Barnes, Dickey, Eddy, Foster, Griggs, LaMoure, Logan, McIntosh, and Wells.

Sadly, board member Carol Stahlhut passed January 10, 2024, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She found solace and support in the Jamestown Cancer Support Group where she formed lasting friendships, volunteered her time on the board as Treasurer, and helped organize fundraising efforts. A memorial service to celebrate Carol’s life will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at 10:30 am at Atonement Lutheran Church in Jamestown, ND. Pastor Lucinda Lien will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to Jamestown Cancer Support Group as a tribute to Carol’s memory.
